History

Pecans are native to South America, Central America and North America. They were first recognized as a food during the 1500s in Native America. The word pecan means a nut that requires a stone to crack it. Slowly pecan trees were planted in North America, and eventually, in 1772, a tree was planted in the US. • I’m wondering why you don’t put your oil in dark-coloured glass. My understanding is that any oil is subject to degradation through exposure to light. I don’t buy any edible oils that are not in dark bottles for this reason, and same goes for cosmetic oils. Having said that, I have tried your oil on my neck and decolletage and do like it very much. But I think it would be better in dark bottles. Thanks!
